Leonie Wright: Diets and healthy eating expert

Leonie WrightFive years ago I came across a healthy eating programme in The Netherlands. I was so taken by it and saw so many amazing results that I decided, together with my husband, to follow the programme.

Both of us experienced considerable health improvements and it convinced us that many more people could benefit in the same way. It showed us how you can be healthy through eating the right foods.

Established in 2002

The programme was established in 2002 by a Dutch nutritionist, diets and healthy eating expert Coby Bouwkamp, following 20 years of research. Since then around 50,000 people have completed the healthy eating programme and continue to enjoy its benefits; eating healthily and being healthy.

To enable me to launch the programme in England, I decided to learn everything I could about diets and healthy eating. I followed a course in Nutritional Awareness, was trained in the Netherlands as a coach, attended educational workshops and seminars and read many more books on the subject of diets and healthy eating.

Diets and healthy eating – a lifestyle change

We all know obesity is on the increase, and this is for a number of reasons, but primarily it is because people don’t exercise enough and, with the growth of snacking and convenience foods, they don’t eat as healthily as they once did.

Most of us have also heard the term “Yo-yo dieting”, to describe the common experience of dieters where they lose weight on a diet, but quickly put it back on again, then go another diet and lose weight again, and so on.

Having extensively studied the subject of diets and healthy eating, I know that to truly change our weight and our health, we need to change our lifestyle. The EatWright programme helps you do just that, so you can become healthier, slimmer and fitter… with lasting results.

The programme is much more than a diet, it is a genuine lifestyle change and it can make a real difference to your life.
