In 2008 I came across a healthy eating plan in The Netherlands. I was so taken by it and saw so many amazing results that I decided, together with my husband, to follow the programme.
Both of us experienced considerable health improvements and it convinced us that many more people could benefit in the same way. It showed us how you can be healthy through eating the right foods.
Prior to that, I’d had no idea that food could have such a huge influence on my health.
The experience inspired me to train as a nutrition coach – so that I could share my knowledge with as many people as possible and give them the support that they need to regain their health. I undertook extensive training both in Holland and in the UK and now run my own practice from home, regularly speak on nutrition and have published 2 recipe books.
In 2015 the original plan was relaunched in Holland by orthomolecular practitioner Nettie Bom. She discovered the power of food in 2002 when her eczema and kilo’s disappeared due to changing the way she ate. For the past 15 years, together with colleagues, she has helped thousands of people to better health. All her experience culminated in the “DeEetlijn Plan” which has been translated into “The EatWright Plan”.

We all know obesity is on the increase, and this is for a number of reasons, but primarily it is because people don’t eat as healthily as they once did; that together with the lack of exercise and, with the growth of snacking and convenience foods, causes weight increase and health conditions.
